Baby No 2

7 weeks

14 weeks 3 days

Baby No 2 is due August 7, 2012, which puts me around 16 weeks right now. Haven't gained much weight, but I have gotten bigger and bloated. I can't suck my tummy in to look close to flat anymore.

My morning sickness was a lot worse this time around, but it's finally getting better. I could hardly eat anything the first two months. I had no appetite and I couldn't imagine eating anything. I was hungry, but not interested in food. The only days I feel a little nausea at night now is when I have coffee earlier in the day. I don't have coffee very often because of that, but it's nice and worth it to enjoy it once in a while. I usually get half regular and half decaf or full decaf if it's later in the day. I can't eat super creamy pastas or pork, they both make me sick just thinking about them. It's really odd because normally I LOVE creamy pastas. My latest cravings are chips, hot pockets (not anymore), and very very icy cold water. I couldn't eat anything egg related for the first two months, especially gooey yolky eggs. I'm finally able to eat egg now, even gooey eggs once in a while.

I don't really hold back eating anything (pretty much the same as I did with my first pregnancy). I haven't craved sushi, but that is good only because there are no good sushi restaurants that I trust in our area.

We are moving to Fort Carson, Colorado at the end of April this year.

I really didn't want to move while pregnant again, but the Army tells us where to go so oh well. I am ready to leave this deserted desert in California. I'm excited that we are moving to more mountains and beautiful scenery. I'm nervous about the cold and the snow.

The first trimester wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I wasn't completely worn out all the time, but I did take 1-2 hour naps with Luci almost everyday for the first two months. I was pretty worried about not having energy to play with my little girl.

I'm getting out almost 6 out of 7 days a week, helping with volunteer stuff for a military group, taking Luci to the park almost daily, doing errands and housework as needed or felt like, knitting and crocheting. I feel pretty busy and it's nice. I'm enjoying cooking again, I just wish I had more time to cook.

I better get to bed. It's getting late.

Good night to a few and good morning to the rest of you.
