Backwards...

Sleeping and Napping
Lately it's been getting harder and harder to put Luci to sleep in her crib. She used to talk herself to sleep after I fed and rocked her for a few minutes. Now she requires me to rock her to sleep for 20 minutes to an hour, plus I have to swaddle her otherwise she will wake up. I think it might be her teething, but I'm not sure. I hope this is a phase, although I am pretty sure it's more just her wanting to be held while she sleeps all the time. She gets rocked to sleep for naps, so she learned that she can demand it for bedtime too. The last week or two I've been rocking her to sleep and swaddling, then as soon as I start lowering her into her crib she starts crying. So it's taking me even longer to put her down. She won't let Jason put her to bed either. She fights him and cries for me. Luci starts crying hard as soon as I put her in her crib awake. If I let her cry for too long, then pick her up, she will choke from crying so hard and throw up. I don't think the ferber method will work for us. I'm just not sure. Putting her to bed at night has been a little stressful for me the last few weeks. I even let her sleep with me and Jason in our bed a couple nights ago because I couldn't get her to sleep in her crib.

Yoga
I'm registering Luci with the childcare services here on post so I can try to get to a yoga class a couple times a week. I'm not sure how she will react to me leaving her with complete strangers. It will only cost me $2/hour for a maximum of two hours per day. I went to yoga three times last week since my parents were visiting. It felt really good. I miss yoga. I'm so much happier when I have time to do yoga.

Swimming
We took Luci swimming for the first time this past Saturday. The water was a little cold, but after a little while she got used to it and she had so much fun in the water. I can't wait till it gets warmer so we can go to the kiddie pool.

Standing Up
All Luci wants to do these days is stand up and walk around holding my hands. It's hard to get anything done. She is the sweetest and cutest baby though. I love her, even though she doesn't let me do anything around the house anymore.
