Three Months

Christmas (3 months 3 weeks)

Playing with her cup toys

Luci loves books and toys now. She is very engaged in her toys and likes to chew them or taste them. Keeps herself busy laying in her jungle gym.

Jason is back with us now

Jason came back to the Bay Area yesterday. It's so good to have him back in our lives. We missed him so much. Luci's changed so much.

We had Luci's belated 100th day Korean celebration yesterday. A few of my friends came to visit and it was great to see them all. The food was great. I didn't drink, but Jason's Mom and Korean relatives drank a case of Soju and a couple bottles of wine. They were pretty drunk and loud. Luckily, Jason and his cousin were sober so they had a designated driver and I had a husband to help me give Luci a bath and try to get her to sleep.

Luci did really well with all the loud voices and noise around. The only thing different was she wasn't taking her bottle like normal. Only would drink one or two ounces instead of the normal four ounces. I know I'm not producing more milk, I just think she was distracted. She woke up at 4:45 AM this morning, which is the earliest in a long time. She didn't want to go back to sleep either, even though it was still dark outside. So Jason and I finally got up and went downstairs to play. She fell asleep after a while and I wrapped her up and we fell back asleep on the bed with her between us for a good hour.

We're going to stay in the Bay Area till a couple days after Christmas, then head back home. I'm looking forward to living in our own house again. I have no idea how we are going to get all our stuff, plus new stuff, back down to our house. My parents will be stopping by in January on their way to Las Vegas, so we'll probably leave what we can't fit with them to bring later.

Luci's really pushing on her hands now during tummy time and stretches her head and neck all the way up. She also is starting to roll to her sides a little. She can stand on her legs for a long time if you hold and balance her body, she's been standing with help for a while now. She grabs everything within reach and gnaws on it, drool's buckets, and is still beautiful.

Her new little cousin (my sister's new baby Nathaneal) is two months younger and almost weighs as much as she does. With clothes on her last weight was about 13.6 while subtracting her weight from mine when carrying her.

I'm still 10-13 pounds over my prepregnancy weight, but I'm not trying to lose it. My stomach is still big. I just want to be a good mom.
